This is the first instance that the Middle East and Africa has been included in Wood Mackenzie's global LCOE update. Analysis of utility-scale solar PV and onshore wind has been conducted for the following markets: Egypt, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates. This report presents the findings of our latest analysis on the development of the LCOE across the Middle East and Africa. The outlook to 2060 under low, base case and high scenarios for each market reflects the diverse energy landscapes and policy environments across the region. This report is one of the five regional reports published annually to reflect the evolving dynamics across all global markets we cover.
