The benefits of H2-ICE over other near-zero emission technologies are expected to drive the market. Hydrogen internal combustion engines have certain benefits over other near-zero or zero-emission technologies like battery electric vehicles and fuel cell electric vehicles. The battery weight and size are major points of concern that sharply impact the payload capacity of the vehicles.
