One of the projects for which the Uttar Pradesh government has allocated funds is the 594 km Ganga Expressway, a one-six-lane greenfield access-controlled highway project with the route alignment connecting NH-334 in Meerut District with NH-2 at Prayagraj Bypass in Prayagraj district at an estimated cost of USD 4.76 billion.
